Poniżej znajduje się lista zadań otrzymywanych od Wędkarza, a także biomy i ich warstwy powierzchni, w których każda ryba może zostać złapany. Tylko jedna misja wędkarza może być ukończona raz na dzień (dzień w Terrarii trwa między 4:30 - 4:29), po czym musisz poczekać do następnego dnia, aby móc otrzymać kolejną misję.

• Zwróć szczególną uwagę na powyższy grafik, jeśli korzystasz z konsoli lub telefonu komórkowego, ponieważ informacje o lokalizacji podane przez Wędkarza są czasami niekompletne lub niedokładne (np. Ryby z zadań oraz Dziwne rośliny to jedyne przedmioty z rzadkością typu 14*.

• Wygląd Rybanioła może być oparty na prawdziwym gatunku zwanym Ustnik słoneczny.
• Mówiąc o Batrybie, Wędkarz odwołuje się do amerykańskiego serialu telewizyjnego Batman z lat 60. XX wieku, w którym występuje tytułowy fikcyjny superbohater. Oprócz piosenki przewodniej, serial był znany z poprzedzania całego wyposażenia bohatera słowem "nietoperz".
• Nazwa Wojennica odnosi się do prawdziwego bezkręgowca Żeglarza portugalskiego. Cytat Wędkarza odnosi się nawet do jego potężnego jadowitego żądła.
• Mówiąc o Tuńczyku trzmielowym, Wędkarz nawiązuje do prawdziwej marki Bumble Bee Foods, LLC, firmy produkującej tuńczyka w puszkach, łososia, inne owoce morza i kurczaka pod marką "Bumble Bee". Jednym z ich produktów jest "Bumble Bee Tuna".
