The Amber Staff is a pre-Hardmode magic weapon. It functions as a gem staff, firing a light-emitting projectile that can pierce 1 enemy. Like the other high-tier gem staves, it can autofire.

- Amber Staff's statistics are identical to the Ruby Staff.
Tips[]
- On the Old Chinese version and tModLoader 1.3-Legacy version, Amber Staffs are prohibitively difficult to obtain, as they require at least a Nightmare/Deathbringer Pickaxe to mine the Desert Fossils and an Extractinator to convert them. However, other gem types (and the metals to go with them) are available much earlier and in higher quantities; by the time a player can make an Amber Staff, they will likely already have a Ruby or Diamond staff, if not some more powerful weapon.
