A life fruit plant

Life Fruit is a Hardmode plant that grows in the Underground Jungle during Hardmode. Once harvested and used, a Life Fruit permanently increases the player's health capacity by 5, turning one of the hearts in the player's health meter golden (signifying the heart now represents 25 health, instead of a red heart's 20 health).

Life Fruits can only be used once a player has reached the 400 health cap from Life Crystals, after which Life Fruit increases health capacity to a maximum of 500 (at which point all life hearts are gold-colored).

A total of 20 Life Fruits are required to reach the maximum of 500 health capacity.

Notes

• When a Life Fruit is used successfully it will also restore 5 health.
• Like other plants, they can be harvested with any weapon or tool, and doesn't require a pickaxe.
• Life Fruit is shown by the Spelunker buff, like other ores and treasures.
• Lifeforce Potion can be used to temporarily increase health capacity even beyond 500, to a maximum of 600.

Trivia

• The plants on which the fruit grows have three different possible sprites. They are all functionally identical.
