Ash Wood armor is an armor set that consists of the Ash Wood Helmet, the Ash Wood Breastplate and the Ash Wood Greaves. It is the most powerful Pre-Hardmode wooden set, however at the point it is obtainable the player likely already has better armor, though it may still be considered due to its set bonus

A full set of Ash Wood armor provides the following benefits:

• +7 defense
• Reduces lava contact damage by 50% and the duration of the inflicted On Fire! debuff by 3.5 seconds.

Crafting a full set requires a total of 75 Ash Wood.

Notes

• In Don't dig up and Get Fixed Boi seeds, the Ash Wood armor receives the following changes:
  • Each set piece only has 1 defense (total of 3)
  • The armor's set bonus reduces lava damage by 64% (reduced from 200 to 72), instead of only 50%.
