One versus a 10 stack of Bananarangs attacking a Target Dummy.
The Bananarang is a Hardmode boomerang, which can be stacked up to 10 in one slot, and thrown rapidly, similarly to Light Discs. They return to the owner once they hit an enemy, come in contact with a block, or reach their maximum range. Bananarangs are dropped by Clowns in stacks of 1 – 4 with a chance of 3.33*1/30 (3.33%).
The Bananarang cannot be reforged, and therefore cannot have modifiers.
Notes[]
- The Bananarang does not autofire on the
Old-gen console version and Nintendo
version.
Tips[]
- In contrast to Light Discs, Bananarangs do not ricochet and do not travel quite as far. However, the larger stack size and low delay between throws means that a player can keep a greater number of projectiles in the air at once.
- The Bananarang is able to be obtained as early as the first Blood Moon in Hardmode, yet inflicts more damage than most Adamantite and Titanium weapons.
- In Journey Mode, its research cost of only 1 allows easily obtaining a full stack.
