The Blood Lust Cluster is an axe crafted from Crimtane Bars. It is stronger than both the Gold and Platinum Axe, but is weaker than the Meteor Hamaxe. It has a Demonite counterpart, the War Axe of the Night, which deals less damage but attacks faster. Like all Axes, it can be used to cut down trees, cacti and Giant Glowing Mushrooms.

While it is useful as a melee weapon, its slow speed means that it is equally if not less powerful than the Gold and Platinum Broadsword, and especially the Blood Butcherer in regular combat situations.

Its best modifier is Light for harvesting purposes and Legendary for combat purposes.

Tips

• Despite the fact that its slow attack speed makes it inferior to the Blood Butcherer combat-wise, its ability to autoswing and to be used as an axe makes it a good choice for players who want a decent melee weapon and an axe upgrade in one.

• It shares the same sprite as the Crimson Axe enemy, except for the red glow.
