The Blue Chicken Egg is a pet summoning item. When used, it summons a Blue Chicken which follows the player. It has a chance of being sold by the Traveling Merchant for 25.

- The Blue Chicken Egg is a direct reference to a blue chicken you can get in the video game Stardew Valley by ConcernedApe, after befriending the character Shane and buying a chicken.
- The buff tooltip "The name tag says 'Shane'" references this fact.
- Despite this, blue chickens in Stardew Valley lay white eggs. Blue eggs do not exist within the game.
