Animation of the Boreal Wood Sword.

The Boreal Wood Sword is an alternate version of the Wooden Sword, made using Boreal Wood from the Snow Biome instead of the regular wood found in Forests. It has slightly higher attack than the plain Wooden Sword, and can easily be crafted by cutting down Boreal Trees, especially for new characters who would be interested in using a wooden sword.

The Boreal Wood Sword's damage is equivalent to that of a Copper Broadsword, though it would be wise to craft this instead due to how cheap it is to obtain.

Its best modifier is Legendary.

Trivia

• The Boreal Wood Sword's sprite is very similar to that of the Wooden Sword, however, there are a few changes, the obvious being that it has an altered color. Also, the handle is slightly different in that it has no quillons, unlike the Wooden Sword. This is because it is referencing the style of the swords Vikings once used, which fits with the Boreal Wood's theme.
