The Bottomless Shimmer Bucket is a Hardmode Post-Moon Lord item that functions similarly to the Bottomless Water Bucket and Bottomless Lava Bucket, being able to place unlimited amounts of Shimmer.

It can be crafted at an Ancient Manipulator using a Bottomless Water Bucket and 10 Luminite Bars, or by submerging a Bottomless Water Bucket into Shimmer post-Moonlord.

When placing the Bottomless Shimmer Bucket above water, the shimmer will become an Aetherium Block.

Tips

• It is more resource efficient to find the Aether and toss a Bottomless Water Bucket into Shimmer. The crafting recipe seems to only exist as a failsafe way to allow players to obtain shimmer in worlds created pre-1.4.4.
