This article is about the breakable pots that contain coins and/or items. For the craftable pots used to grow flowers, see Clay Pot. For the crafting station used to make the Bowl of Soup, see Cooking Pot.

Pots are a common sight in Terraria. While pots usually appear underground, they can be found on the surface, generally only under overhangs or near caves. When smashed with any tool or weapon, they have a chance to drop Coins and/or a random common item. Pots cannot be picked up, and pots never respawn after being broken. New pots will not spawn after the world is created.
