Cogs are a Hardmode crafting material and placeable block that is purchased from the Steampunker for 7 each. They are used to make High Velocity Bullets, Liquid Sensors and the Steampunk furniture set.

When Cogs are placed together they will display animated machinery. Corners, lines, and junctions will never be animated, though blocks inside the group of cogs and the left border will always be animated and other borders are sometimes animated (2/3 chance).

Crafting all Steampunk furniture will require 159 () / 153 ( ) / 33 () cogs.
