The Diamond Ring is a vanity accessory. When worn, it places a blue dot on each of the player's wrists. It is purchased from the Traveling Merchant for 2.

The Diamond Ring cannot be reforged, and therefore cannot have modifiers.

Tips

• This content is transcluded from Vanity Accessories/tip.Because vanity accessories such as the Diamond Ring cannot be reforged to grant any benefits besides appearance, it is recommended to equip them in the player's social accessory slots.

Trivia

• This is one of the few items obtainable pre-Hardmode with the 08* rarity tier.
• The Diamond Ring is tied as the fourth most expensive item in the game, being beaten by the Steampunk Wings, Parrot Cracker and Companion Cube.
  • Furthermore, it is one of eight pre-Hardmode items that cost Platinum Coins, the other ones being the Companion Cube, Celestial Wand, Bamboo Leaf, Bedazzled Nectar, Birdie Rattle, Exotic Chew Toy and the Old Walking Stick.
• A Diamond gem is worth only 30 (that is, 150 if considering the much higher cost NPCs sell at), meaning that the Diamond Ring is worth roughly 133 Diamonds.
