Ebonstone Wall

Ebonstone Walls are naturally-occurring background walls found in the Corruption chasms. They can be destroyed with the Hammer.

In Old-gen console version, Windows Phone version, Old Chinese version, Nintendo 3DS version, and tModLoader 1.3-Legacy version, Ebonstone Walls cannot be crafted by the player, but they can be converted from Stone Walls by using Purple Solution sprayed with the Clentaminator. As the Clentaminator affects a rather large area, creating areas of localized Ebonstone Walls without converting blocks and other wall parts may be difficult. They are not suitable for NPC housing and cannot be picked up when destroyed with a Hammer.

In PC version, Console version, Mobile version, and tModLoader version, Ebonstone Walls can be crafted from Ebonstone Blocks at a Work Bench with Ecto Mist. These walls, when placed by the player, can be picked up when destroyed by a Hammer. Player-placed Ebonstone Walls are suitable for NPC housing as well.
