It can be obtained from looting Sandstone Chests in the Underground Desert.

Notes

  • Items reeled in while fishing are still placed in the player's inventory.
  • The Encumbering Stone prevents items and coins from being picked up, even if there's already an incomplete stack of an item in the player's inventory.
  • This item does not prevent the pickup of Hearts and Stars.
  • It prevents items from entering the Void Bag as well.
    • If placed inside the Void Bag, however, the stone doesn't block items from entering it

Trivia

  • The tooltip for the item is likely a reference to the same text that appears in some Role-Playing games (such as in The Elder Scrolls series) when the player character is carrying more than they can lift.
