The Mermaid set is a vanity set composed of the Seashell Hairpin, Mermaid Adornment, and Mermaid Tail. The complete set is awarded randomly for completing a fishing quest for the Angler NPC.

Notes

The Mermaid Tail conceals the player's feet, and when moving, the player appears to slither rather than walk.
The item does not show up correctly on the Mannequin and Womannequin, since the figures' feet are still visible.
Equipment like the Hermes Boots or Shoe Spikes that visibly appears on feet will still show and move properly, even without visible legs. See here for two examples.
