Fries are a food item dropped by Flying Fish which grants the player the Plenty Satisfied buff. This lasts for 10 minutes, but can be canceled at any time by right-clicking the icon (Desktop version), by selecting the icon and canceling it in the equipment menu (Console versionNintendo Switch), or by double-tapping the buff icon (Mobile version).

  • Its tooltip, "Where's the Ketchup!?" references the American tradition of eating fries with ketchup. It may also reference "Where's the Lamb Sauce?!", a famous quote from celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.
  • The icon is inspired by McDonald's Fries. The yellow 'T' on the container is a reference to McDonalds' logo being a yellow 'M', which is the first letter of the company's name, and T being the first letter in 'Terraria'.
  • The fact that the item drops from Flying Fish may reference the meal fish and chips.
