[[Fallen Star]]s are items which randomly fall from the sky at night. Fallen stars glow like a placed torch. They may be consumed directly for 20 [[mana]], or a player can use 10 to make a [[Mana Crystal]] which increases a player's maximum [[mana]] by 20. A simple method for harvesting Fallen Stars is to construct long straight sections of ground to run along at night. Alternatively, it is possible to build long platforms in the sky, though these have the disadvantage of catching [[Meteorite_(biome)|meteors]]. A sign can be placed on top of blocks, beside them, or hanging from their underside. They can also be placed on Walls. A sign's message can be up to 10 lines long, at 48 characters max per line, for a total of 480 characters maximum per sign. Signs can be used for decoration, labeling areas, adventure text, etc.
