The Hellfire Treads are a pre-Hardmode accessory that combine the functionality of Spectre Boots with the visual effects of Flame Waker Boots.

The Hellfire Treads are functionally identical to the Spectre Boots, except for the purely cosmetic trail of flames. Although the Hellfire Treads are a combination of two items, only one has actual effects. If equipped in a vanity slot, the trail of flames is still visible.
