Vortex Armor is a Hardmode armor set that is crafted using Vortex Fragments and Luminite Bars. A full set grants the player the ability to toggle Stealth. Unlike the Shroomite Armor moving or grappling during the Vortex's stealth mode does not break the effect. Dashing causes the player to unstealth. Additionally, during stealth, weapon damage and critical hit of ranged weapons are increased.
