Iron Bar
The Iron Bar is an early-game metal bar, used to create the Iron tier of equipment, along with many other items. Its alternate ore version is the Lead Bar. It can also be placed on the ground, like furniture.
New characters in Journey Mode will always start with Iron tools, regardless of the ore types present in the world.

Tips[]
- One can buy Anvils from the Merchant, and then uncraft them by dropping them into Shimmer. It will cost 10 Silver per bar.
Trivia[]
- Pure iron, in reality, is impractical for tools due to its high malleability. Its usage in Terraria more closely resembles real-life steel.
