The Ivy Chest is a chest storage item found only in Jungle Shrines and Living Mahogany Trees in the Underground Jungle. They are characterized by gray bricks and green torches. The Ivy Chest is the primary object for storing items, which means you won't lose any in case of death. The Ivy Chests needs a solid floor or a wooden flap before it can be placed.

In total, the Ivy Chest has 40 (10 x 4) slots where items can be stored, but in order to be mined with a pickaxe, the chest must be completely empty.
