The Flower of Frost is a Hardmode Magic weapon dropped from a Mimic in the Underground Snow biome. Functionally similar, though superior, to the Flower of Fire. It shoots a slow, non-piercing ball of frost that bounces up to seven times (dissipating on the eighth). Its projectile is much less affected by gravity than the Flower of Fire, cannot bounce on platforms, and functions in all liquids. It has a 50% chance to cause the Frostburn debuff.

Trivia

Similar to the Flower of Fire, this item may be a reference to the Super Mario Brothers franchise, in which the "Ice Flower" is a powerup that gives the player blue clothes and allows the player to throw bouncing ice balls that freeze enemies on contact.
