The Magical Pumpkin Seed summons a pet Squashling. Like most other pets, the Squashling does not deal damage to enemies or other players, nor does it take damage, as it simply follows the player around. When the player jumps high enough or outruns the Squashling, it will twirl and fly after the player. When harvesting a fully-grown Pumpkin plant during Halloween, there is a 0.5% (1/200) chance a Magical Pumpkin Seed will drop.

Tips

• During the Halloween event, Pumpkins will randomly grow on grass tiles. Pumpkin Seeds can also be purchased from the Dryad NPC, and planted by the player.
• Pumpkins can be harvested by any means (such as Actuators) in order to obtain the Magical Pumpkin Seed. This will make an effective farming system when combined with Conveyor Belts leading to the player's house or other collection point.

Trivia

• The Squashling may be a reference to the Sinister Squashling, a visually-identical character from World of Warcraft and Hearthstone.
