IF YOU HAVE A WOOD SWORD YOU SUCK AT LIFE! Just joking! The Palm Wood Sword is an alternate version of the Wooden Sword made using Palm Wood from the Ocean Biome. It has slightly higher attack than the plain Wooden Sword, and can easily be crafted by breaking down Palm Trees, especially for new characters who would be interested in using a wooden sword. Though it should be kept in mind getting to the Ocean Biome can consist of going through Corruption/Crimson or the Jungle biome, making the slight damage increase not worth the dangerous trek for new players.

The Palm Wood Sword's sprite is very similar to that of the Wooden Sword; however, there are a few changes, the most obvious being that it has a lighter color. Also, the handle is slightly different in that its quillions are horizontal, whereas the Wooden Sword's shorter quillions stand parallel to the blade.

The damage of the Palm Wood Sword is equivalent of that to a Copper Broadsword.
