This article is a Mothron is an enemy from the Solar Eclipse event.
Notes
- It spawns much more rarely than other Solar Eclipse enemies.
- It has the ability to go through blocks and fly.
- When Mothron reaches you it will stay on top of you doing damage every second if you stand still.
- Mothron makes it much harder to design an AFK farm for the Solar Eclipse as it takes no knockback and goes through blocks.
- Mothron lays Mothron Egg to spawn Baby Mothron.
Trivia
- Mothron is a reference to Mothra from the namesake 1961 movie.
- Mothron's name also follows the trend of Terraria enemies' and bosses' names ending with the suffix -ron, such as Skeletron, Duke Fishron, and Pigron.
