Trivia

• This is one of the three items that can appear in a pyramid's chest. It is often referred to as the "Pharaoh's Curse" by the speedrunning community because it is relatively worthless compared to the Flying Carpet or Sandstorm in a Bottle. As of 1.4.4 however, shimmer allows the conversion of the robe into the Flying Carpet, and the mask into a Sandstorm in a Bottle, meaning it is now the best of the three items as it can yield both of the other two.
• The Pharaoh's set is directly linked to the clothing a mummified Pharaoh would wear. It being found in a Desert makes sense due to the fact that Egyptians (can be crowned as Pharaohs) lived in the Sahara and Libyan desert.
