The Pumpkin armor is an armor set crafted from Pumpkins at any Work Bench. 75 Pumpkins are required to craft the full set. It is much better than Wood or Cactus armor as it has higher defense than Cactus and increases all damage dealt by the player by 10%.

Notes

• Due to the set bonus, the Pumpkin armor could be considered superior even to Gold or Platinum armor.
• This armor set can give a large advantage to new players during Halloween, as Pumpkins can grow naturally on grass and can be harvested right at the beginning of the game.
  • If it is not Halloween, the player will either be required to have defeated a boss and gotten the Dryad to move in, or locate Shimmer and convert Cactus into Pumpkin.
• During Halloween, this armor set may prove useful to those using Summon weapons. There are few other minion-damage boosting armor pieces that can be obtained before challenging a boss, and Pumpkin armor can be obtained with basically zero effort.
