Not to be confused with the Royal Delight, the pet-summoning item dropped by King Slime.

The Regal Delicacy is a pet-summoning item which is dropped by Queen Slime in Master Mode with a 25*1/4 (25%) chance. It summons a pet Slime Princess which follows the player around. The pet resembles a miniature Queen Slime with blush, small dotted eyes and a pinpoint mouth.

Trivia[]

  • The pet is the female counterpart of the Slime Prince, spawned with the Royal Delight.
    • The tooltip, "She is the higher authority", is connected to the Slime Prince buff's tooltip, "He answers to a higher authority".
  • When the player is far enough away, the Slime Princess will fly to the player with her wings, similar to Queen Slime.
  • Following community suggestions, developers toyed with the idea that the Royal Delight and Regal Delicacy could be crafted together into one pet-summoning item. This was added in 1.4.4. as the Resplendent Dessert.[1]
