The Rod of Harmony is Hardmode tool that instantly teleports the player to the mouse cursor, similar to the Rod of Discord, but without the Chaos State Debuff. It is acquired by dropping the Rod of Discord into Shimmer after the Moon Lord is defeated.

Notes

Dropping the Rod of Discord into Shimmer before the Moon Lord is defeated will cause it to remain at the bottom of the liquid. If not dropped near the edge of the Shimmer, the player will have to enter the liquid to retrieve it, receiving the Shimmering Debuff if they are not wearing a Chromatic Cloak.

The Rod Of Harmony cannot be used to teleport into the Jungle Temple before Plantera is defeated.

Because of the lack of the Chaos State debuff, this is one of the most useful tools in the game.

Trivia

• The Rod of Harmony’s sprite has a primarily pink and gold colour scheme, fitting the sprite theme of the other Shimmer-crafted items.

• Harmony is the opposite of discord. This puts the Rod of Harmony's name in contrast to the Rod of Discord's.

• The Rod of Harmony is functionally identical to the Rod of Discord before the latter's nerf in version 1.2.1.2. years ago, when it was changed to inflict the Chaos State debuff.
