:: My first remark (not a statement) was made after a few tests where i got only ranger emblems while using a bow to defeat WoF. Then i asked myself if there was a link between the held item and the emblem obtained. I then used bananarangs and obtained melee emblems. My last test was with a summoning staff where i got a summoner emblem. I came here to discuss this strange behavior. Looks like RNGesus played with me. In short, i didn't made a correlation with a one-time attempt but did try. For my next experiment i'll try to see if there is a link between people who write their names in bold and big-headed people. --NutellaTactical (talk) 00:38, 5 August 2015 (UTC)

I noticed that some drop rates on the boss pages are different from the ones here. For example the 33% rate drops from the Queen Bee Treasure Bag are 66% rate drops on the Queen Bee boss page. I didn't check all pages to see if there are more of these differences. That's just what I noticed while looking something up. Someone who knows the exact rates could edit them to the right values. -TheFrostSpark (talk) 21:02, 21 August 2015 (UTC)

If the first is true, the second cannot possibly be true, unless someone cheated to have a Treasure Bag in a Normal world. I've actually never got 10 gold, instead, I've received anywhere been 25-40 gold (after selling loot, upwards of a total of 40-70 gold). Could someone double check the drop tables for queen bee's treasure bag? (Other gold rates as well, at this point) Pazon123

:How sure are you about that "25-40 gold"? At a glance, treasure bags drops npc.value, with +-20% variance, and has four separate chances to up the value by 5-10, 10-20, 15-30, 20-40 percent. At most it would be 100000*1.2*1.1*1.2*1.3*1.4=28gold 82silver 88copper. If you've gotten more than that, then there's probably some other place where value gets modified that I haven't noticed yet. Either way, describing the mechanic on the page would probably be excessive, having a min-max range( - ) wouldn't look nice either. Maybe just mention -20% +288% variance in the top section? 86.115.19.146 06:15, 9 July 2018 (UTC)

I've changed the colour of the highlighting on the page so that the item names are readable. Bright blue text on a bright yellow background simply didn't seem to work. (Novice editor - please forgive any mistakes.)
  +
UPDATE: I usually use the dark theme when viewing web pages. I've just checked the page using the normal colour scheme, and the highlight change may have made things worse. It appears that the colour of the item names changes with the theme, but the highlight colour does not. This seems to make it very difficult to find a highlight colour which works with both themes! Maybe someone with more Wiki editing/formatting skill than me can find a solution. In the meantime, feel free to revert my changes if necessary until a better solution can be found. Inconsistency

At the top of the page:

"Treasure bags are client-side and will despawn if you exit the world." (Seems normal enough.) In the "Developer Items" section:

"Obtaining a Treasure Bag in an Expert world, then opening the bag in a Normal world will retain the Treasure Bag's chance to yield developer items."
