The Sky Crate is a pre-Hardmode crate that can only be fished at high elevations, such as in Floating Lakes. Sky Crates contain items found in standard crates, and on the  PC version,  Console version,  Mobile version, and  tModLoader version, they always contain an item normally found in Skyware Chests. On the  Old Chinese version and  tModLoader 1.3-Legacy version, Sky Crates only have a chance to drop an item from a Skyware Chest, but they may also drop Hardmode bars if opened in a Hardmode world. Although Skyware Chests can rarely contain the Sky Mill, the Sky Crate never does. Its Hardmode counterpart is the Azure Crate.
