The Worm Scarf is an Expert Mode accessory that reduces incoming damage by 17% (damage reduction calculated after defense: Damage(taken) = Damage(base) - Defense(1/2(normal) or 3/4(expert) - 17%). The Worm Scarf is obtainable from the Eater of World's Treasure Bag once you defeat it.

Tips

• Percent damage reduction on accessories/potions apply first then damage reduction on set bonuses are applied (Beetle Armor, Solar Flare Armor).
• As the game progresses, enemies will start hitting well into the 300-400 damage range. The Worm Scarf thus becomes valuable in reducing damage and making blows tolerable.

Notes

• Doesn't stack with the Endurance Potion.
