The Soul of Might is one of the six / seven souls. It is dropped by The Destroyer and also very rarely by Lepus, making it obtainable in pre-Hardmode on Windows Phone and .
Crafting all items requires 53 / 32 / 102 Souls of Might, meaning the player must defeat The Destroyer 3–4 / 2–3 / 3–6 times.

Notes[]
While Lepus can drop Souls of Might, they do not have a use in pre-Hardmode as they cannot be used to make anything without a Hardmode Anvil or other Hardmode-exclusive materials.- Unlike souls obtained from the other mechanical bosses, the Souls of Might are relatively easy to collect because, rather than dropping far away or high in the air, they drop from the body segment of The Destroyer that is closest to the player, often so close to the player that they may be instantly picked up.
Tips[]
- All types of souls are very useful for selling as profit once the necessary items have been crafted.
Crafting Souls of Might into Light Discs significantly increases profits; this requires Hallowed Bars (dropped by the same boss), and Souls of Light, which need to be gathered in the Underground Hallow. On the PC version, Console version, Mobile version, and tModLoader version, the sale price of Light Discs is only slightly higher than that of the materials to make them.
Trivia[]
- The Soul of Might is the only type of soul directly stating the boss it is dropped from in its tooltip.
However, despite the tooltip claiming the soul to be 'The essence of the destroyer', it is also rarely dropped by Lepus.
