Spectre Bars are Hardmode post-Plantera bars crafted from Chlorophyte Bars and Ectoplasm. They are used to make the Spectre gear, tools, and painting tools.

Crafting all items requires 176 Spectre Bars (88 Ectoplasm and 176 Chlorophyte Bars, or 880 / 1,056 ores.)

Trivia

• The word spectre means ghost, this makes sense within Terraria because it is made from Ectoplasm
• Terraria uses the British-English spelling for spectre - the American-English spelling is Specter. This is unlike scepter type weapons, Terraria uses the American-English spelling for them - the British-English spelling is sceptre

Notes

• Spectre Bars are the second most expensive bars in the game (tied with Shroomite Bars), selling for 1. (The most expensive are Luminite Bars, at 120.) Unlike Shroomite, the ingredients for Spectre Bars sell for rather more than the bars do.
