What do the shards that are scattered around the point of impact do?[]
I'll be honest here and say that the image doesn't really tell me anything. --Deltalon 23:00, 5 December 2011 (UTC)
- They do damage to secondary targets. Think fragmentation rounds.
- The bullets are made out of crystal and when they hit a hard surface the crystal shatters and sends sharp crystal shards flying in all direction to hurt enemies. Makes sense doesn't it?
Anomaly[]
85.229.64.135 removed my anomaly edit.
Crystal Shard has a specific and technical meaning in the context of the game. The tooltip says the bullets generate crystal shards. They don't; they generate secondary projectiles. That's clearly a case of a misleading tooltip rather than a bugged implementation, but the tooltip and the game behavior still conflict, and I think that warrants a comment of some kind on the page, especially considering that items exist in the game that actually do generate other game objects. --Manxome 18:58, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, I agree, but it's not really anomaly-level material in my humble opinion. --Theothersteve7 19:02, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
- Fair enough. --Manxome 21:58, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
Secondary damage variation[]
Wonder if the secondary damage done by the fragments are also subject to critical percentage. I'll do some tests and put up my findings. I hope someone else does the same to verify. 76.182.95.123 23:04, 18 December 2011 (UTC)
Console Version[]
In the xbox version the Crystal Bullets damage is 10. --95.155.250.176 10:32, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
