Are we sure that crafting Dirt Walls requires the Furnace? That seems like a Work Bench function, but if not, I hadn't noticed. (I'll try to remember to check on it once I'm able.) -- TechpriestMagos 23:08, 30 June 2011 (UTC)

Issue is resolved, it doesn't need to be deleted. --JonTheMon 18:55, 3 July 2011 (UTC)

Furnace As Light Source[]

Does a Furnace count as a light source for the purposes of a home? In other words, will an otherwise legal house remain so with merely a furnace providing light? 208.54.32.138 07:01, 6 July 2011 (UTC)

Furnace does not count. The valid light sources are Torch, Candle, any Chandelier, Chain Lantern and Water Candle. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by GauHelldragon (talk • contribs) at 07:06, 6 July 2011 (UTC).

The furnace's light[]

Is there a way to turn it off? if there isn't there should as its currently the one thing stopping me from building my underground lab WesleyJacksonJr (talk) 20:11, 18 October 2019 (UTC)

Furnace recipe is wrong[]

Furnace can not be made with "any wood". Easy and efficiently gathered woods, like Dynasty can not be used to craft a furnace. Seeing that simply buying wood, or gathering wood from events is either zero time or much faster it should be clearer that you need "normal wood". It's been beyond frustrating for wiki lurker like me trying to figure out why I could not craft the item, this might be really funny in retrospect, but I hope someone smarter than me could clarify the recipe so no one needs to wonder what they are doing wrong. That's what the wiki is for, right? Kedilele (talk) 22:09, 12 December 2020 (UTC)

EDIT: I now realised that this is mentioned Here in Trivia Wish I knew sooner. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kedilele (talkcontribs) at 23:15, 12 December 2020
Hi, it is written as it actually shows up in the game when asking to the Guide. Also, the GIF doesn't display Dynasty Wood to clarify that and, even if you found out already, clicking on the link would have told you what are all the ingredients considered as "Any Wood". Also, the Dynasty Wood page doesn't display any "Any Wood" recipes. --Dinoxel (talk) 08:16, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
