The Cactus Sword behaves like an ordinary broadsword, but it deals more damage compared to early weapons(dealing the same damage as the Tin Broadsword) and it has more range. It appears much more robust and dangerous compared to wooden and other early-game swords, and can be very useful until one finds Silver or Tungsten to forge a more deadly sword. It also is not in the mobile version for Terraria.
