So me and a friend tried to summon both this and the mechanical worm..
He was the one that did the summoning.
It took 3 mechanical eyes to actually get one to spawn. We tried once a few days ago, it was at night, obviously post-hardmode. Did absolutely nothing. No message, just nothing. Also apparently used the mechanical eye up anyway. Same thing happened the second time. Only worked the third time, after we were in the same place and did the exact same thing as the second time.
Has also happened twice with the mechanical worm. Am posting this as we are trying it, so we haven't actually tried to summon it a third time.
Is this a bug, or are we missing something? For the eye we are not at a high altitude, just above ground. -90.206.219.177
Same thing as above. Used up, no message why, no twins spawned. I was at a higher altitude, but still only maybe 30 blocks above the highest non-floating island land.
Using Twice[]
I died instantly when (I think) I accidentally used a second Mechanical Eye immediately after the first one, giving me a generic death message. I have not tried to repeat. --Manxome 00:12, 10 December 2011 (UTC)

Can someone please redo the timeline at the bottom of the page, as the desktop one seems to be missing. I might have deleted it, but I don't think I did.
