Animation of the Tendon Bow.

The Tendon Bow is a bow crafted solely using Crimtane Bars. It is the Crimson counterpart to the Corruption's Demon Bow, with a slightly higher base damage and slower speed. Along with its counterpart, it is the last type of ore bow the player can craft until they reach The Underworld, where they could craft the Molten Fury. Its best modifier is Unreal.

Notes

• The Tendon Bow (or its counterpart, the Demon Bow) will almost always be craftable after one Eye of Cthulhu kill, because it drops at least 30 Crimtane or Demonite Ore, which can be turned into 10 respective bars.
• The Tendon Bow, although typically obtained after defeating the Eye of Cthulhu, is still technically possible to obtain before fighting a boss. This can be achieved by blowing up Crimtane Ore on the surface with Bombs or any stronger explosives and then crafting the resulting bars into a Tendon Bow.

Trivia

• A tendon is the fibrous connective tissue that connects muscle to bone, which ties into the "flesh" theme of the Crimson. Animal tendons are often used as bow strings and are also called sinew.
