    • I would create sacrificial armour it gives you -999999 defense but your attack is increased by 9999999 and all the coins you get are up 1 tier (copper to silver and so on)if it is a platinum it will stay platinum.it will also give you eternal flight and insta-mine 

      So practically it's risk for reward

    • I would make the "Saggitarius armor" made out of 100 holy arrows unicorn horns and some pixie dust (25 pixie dust and horns for chest and leggings, 35 pixie and 20 horns for head) And it will have 42 defense all together and will increase archer damage/ranged damage,it will also turn you into a centaur with lightning/hermes type boots.

    • I have this in mind for a long time: the Universe Armor!

      First thing's first, combining 1 of all Pillar fragments (Solar, Stardust, Nebula, Vortex) at the Ancient Manipulator will create Universe Fragments, 1 of them for each crafting.

      The Universe Helmet is for ranged users. It gives 38 defense and requires 12 Universe Fragments and 1 Vortex Helmet...? I forgot the name of it xD

      The Universe Headgear is for magic users. It gives 32 defense and requires 12 Universe Fragments and 1 Nebula Hood-whatever.

      The Universe Mask is normal, if you're going Melee or Summoner. It gives 32 defense and requires 14 Universe Fragments plus 1 Solar Flare Mask OR Stardust Helmet.

      The Universe Plate Mail is for Melee. It gives 44 defense and requires 20 Universe Fragments plus 1 Solar Flare Breastplate/Plate Mail/Whatever.

      The Universe Vest is for Summoner. It gives 38 defense and requires 18 Universe Fragments plus 1 Stardust Plate Mail/WHATEVER.

      The Universe Generic Breastplate (yes, generic) is basic, if you're going Ranged or Magic. It gives 30 defense and requires 18 Universe Fragments plus 1 Vortex chest piece OR Nebula chest piece.

      And finally, the Universe Greaves are normal too, for every set. They give 36 defense and require 1 of ALL Pillar leggings/greaves plus 16 Universe Fragments.

      The Melee set bonus is: +16% melee damage and speed. Weapons are 17% larger (Insanely large Breaker Blade - check.) and have a +20% critical strike chance.

      The Ranged set bonus is: +33% chance to not consume ammo, +16% critical strike chance and speed.

      The Magic set bonus is: -20% mana consumption, +100 maximum mana and +18% critical strike chance. Magic damage heals you for 1 tenth of the damage dealt.

      The Summoner set bonus is: +6 maximum minions, +50% minion damage.

      If you mix sets, you will only have ONE set bonus. You can't wear both Universe Vest and Headgear, it will only take the set bonuses and defense from the head piece and the chest piece's defense will be reduced to 30.

      Defense values:

      112 for melee

      104 for ranged

      98 for magic AND generic (Greaves, GB and Mask, see below)

      106 for summoner

      OH, ONE MORE THING: If you wear Greaves, Generic Breastplate and Mask, you will get a increase in damage by 10% for all classes.

    • I was thinking of the Bloodlust armor made of 50 Ichor, 15 souls of fright, 15 souls of sight, 15 souls of might and 30 hallowed bars for the whole set. Helmet: 40 defense, chest piece: 30, boots: 28. The set bonus would be every attack has a chance to inflict Ichor on hit.

    • Hello I am Terrarian iOS I would like to tell you my armor idea. I would make terrarian armor. It will support the magic class and will have 67 defense. The set bonus is life steal and increased flight for wings.it will also have a 1% chance to return damage dealt to the attacker. It is crafted by 36 Terrarian bars (0.1 chance to drop from the mechanical bosses, Lunar Fragments, and 27 Ectoplasm you MUST have a Mythril Anvil or Orchalichum Anvil and an Ancient Manipulator at the same time to craft it

    • I'd make Jester's Armor. It is made of 15 Fallen Stars and 54 Hallowed Bars. It is a ranged armor set mainly for people who use bows/repeaters that changes all arrows into Jester's Arrows when shot from a bow/repeater, and increases the damage of the Jester's Arrows. Any arrow with special effects (e.g. Chlorophyte Arrows bouncing off walls) will apply their special affect to the Jester's Arrows. In total the armor gives 50 defense to the player, and gives off the same particle effect that Jester's Arrows make when the player runs.

      The helmet gives 15 defense, and increases ranged damage and speed by 15%

      The breastplate gives 25 defense, and grants a 20% chance not to consume ammo

      The leggings give 10 defense, and increases movement speed by 8%

      Breastplate Craft Recipe: 35 Luminite Bars, 30 souls of might, fright and sight

      So this really hard to get armor has less defense than Solar Flare armor (another Moon Lord armor), and no other bonuses for each piece other than defense? I'm not sure this armor would be worth farming for or wearing. Perhaps you should give your ideas more thought before adding them to the wiki.

      Visual effect:tiny blocks of living fire trail the player that cant be mined and dissappear after 2 seconds.

      In order for insanium to spawn, the moon lord has to be defeated, after that, here is how to gain insanium.

      1.(rarely)a white orb spawns and explodes into an insane rune,slow boss 1 plays and gets slower as you get closer to it, if you touch one of two things happen

      1.1.a yellow hole bursts through the top shooting out 25 insanium ore,

      1.2.A black hole bursts and shoots out a Phantasam dragon,

      2. Insanium worms  come out of nowhere, they have 1/16 HP of the destroyer.

      3. random find.

      Set bonus:Ranged: enemies get launched away when they touch you. Magic: has a chance to split into 3. Melee: has a chance to activate a buff "supernova" that swings X5 fast.

I say... shadowflame armor because shadowflame summoners and mages are very, very annoying. in total, 50 defense, which is equivalent to hallowed armor. i want this because i die a lot but i am very efficient with magic. the bonus would be +40% magic damage and -20% mana usage. would use 20 of each soul, 20 luminite, 50 titanium or the other ore, and 5 rubies. expensive because it is good!

      Special: double tap down to pull a diversion launcher that in 1 second shoots a hallucination rocket that does no damage but it causes hallucination to enemies in fire area. This last for 20 seconds (Pvp benefit. Can be used for lighting. Can also be used for luring a few enemies towards fire location, or away from cover. Also can be used for disabling a snipers ability to snipe properly.)

      Set bonus: increased sight by 50 blocks, immune to some debuffs, summons a shield that absorbs 25% damage taken when at 30% hp. (Debuffs include: poison, venom, hallucination, ghost, ichor, broken armor, penetrated, silenced)

      Special: increases view range by 25 blocks, enemies remained marked for 5 extra seconds if marking gear is on (in pvp, sniping and marking is useful)

      Defense: 15 (max: 53 )

      Special: any enemy that attacks is marked immediately for 2 seconds. Any enemy on screen will glow red to give off their location if they’re in a dark area or your under the effects of ghost. Marks last for 10 seconds longer if the enemy is onscreen. (Let’s hope you got a enemy that won’t stop attacking or getting attacked by slimes)

      Set bonus: the first hit you land on a enemy does 2 times the damage and will immediately give the enemy hallucination for 5 seconds. All marks last 5 seconds longer. Binoculars can increase sight range 30 blocks longer. (my new pvp tactic. Mark, surrond with other players, snipe, kill)

    • I would make Forcefield Armor. It looks as if teal water were running down an invisible sphere with red electricity on the inside of it. It basically just NEGATES (meaning that rather than your health minus the attack power, it's PLUS it) any attempts at attacks on you. It also Turboshocks attackers, meaning that they take 50 damage and shoot back 10 blocks (extreme knockback). Any mobs it may go through whilst shooting back are Turboshocked, too, and they will shoot back, etc. In the rare occasion that a monster with over 13,000 HP attacks them, they will be Turboshocked, but they will not be affected by knockback. This armor is obtained by killing all possible Hardmode bosses at the same time. Its set bonus is that when you have less than 20 HP, it will summon an electrical storm to disintegrate several nearby enemies. However, if you have less than 4 stars of mana, none of this will happen, and the forcefield will be invisible.

      Most attacks of the Moon Lord deal 60 damage (120 in Expert Mode). This gives 222 defense. That is 111 damage reduction (167 in Expert Mode). Now, let's put these 2 stats into calculation.

      60 - 111 = -51. So in Normal mode, it would deal 1 damage. Surely this is different in Expert Mode, right? Nope.

      120 - 167 = -47. That's still 1 damage. An Expert Mode Moon Lord attack, dealing 1 damage. Things are a bit better with the 2 stronger attacks, right? Let's start with the Phantasmal Sphere.

      100 - 111 = -11. That's 1 damage in Normal Mode.

      200 - 167 = 33. 33 is more than 1, i'll give you that, but comparing this to Solar Flare Armor.

      200 - 59 = 141. So this puts the Solar Flare amor to shame.

      Now, what about the most powerful attack in the Moon Lord's arsenal, the Phantasmal Deathray?

      150 - 111 = 39. Now, is this OK for the most powerful attack second to the Dungeon Guardian? I think you can answer that yourself.

      300 - 167 = 133. Now basically your Immortal in Normal Mode & Your only threat is the Moon Lord's Death Ray in Expert Mode.

      Not saying this is a completely Bad concept, just needs some tweaking. I'm assuming it's Post-Golem, Pre-Cultist. Otherwise, if your excuse is that it's Post-Moon Lord, then why don't the Pillar Armor sets make you immortal? Well yeah left it off on a bad note there, sorry. 6/10 needs tweaks IGN.

      Each piece gives 50 def and requires 100 Bricks per piece, and the specific Armor type is jinxed during the MoonLord fight, rendering it useless

    • I don't think it should be jinxed during the Moon Lord fight, just simply lower the defense. I'd say that like 125 defense would be good.

      The problem is that the throwing class is just a sub-class and dies upon reaching Hardmode...

Complete set is made from a total of 80 Stingers, 10 Black Scorpions, Queen Spider armor, 1 Soul of Might, and 100 Bones. 50 defense, Bonus: Increases movement speed by about 10%, summons a scorpion to defend you when under 20% health, immunity to Poisoned, has a chance to inflict Venom in any of your attacks, and lets you crawl on background walls very quickly. Appearance: Entirely black except 8 glowing teal eyes, with 4 extra legs on the breastplate and a large stinger as a tail.

    • Think it should have a nerf to the defense; 50 defense is the same amount as Hallowed Armor, Melee. Usually it's around the same as the Mage in defense. So instead of 50, perhaps 30? Besides that, really well done.

      50 rotten chunks/vertebrae, 25 demonite bars/crimtane bars, 10 tissue chunks/shadow vertebrae(I'll explain later) for the undead mask 13 def

      all of the above except +10 to all to make the undead breastplate 16 def

      all of the top except +5 to all to make the undead leggings 14 def

      SET BONUS: Undead mobs (all zombies, skeletons etc. unless a boss)  cannot harm you, but they will still try to attack you. If you are killed, you will be revived with a quarter of your health, and you cannot heal while revived. tissue chunks are made from 1 tissue sample and 1 rotten chunk at a crafting table, and a shadow vertebra is made from 1 shadow scale and 1 vertebra at a crafting table. This means you will need to have a crimson AND corruption

      X Armor(Ranger)

      X Helmet: 17 Defense and 5% Ranged critical strike chance

      X Body Armor: 18 defense and 10% increased ranged damage

      X Leggings: 16 Defense and 10% increased movement Speed

      Set bonus: Allows charging of gun weapons for up to 4x the amount of damage, takes 3 seconds for 2x, 6 seconds for 3x, and 10 seconds for 4x, plus 10% ranged damage.

      Full Defense: 51

      Zero Armor(Melee)

      Z Helmet: 20  Defense and 10% Melee critical strike chance 

      Z Body Armor: 32 Defense and 6% melee strike chance

      Z Leggings: 20 Defense and 13% Increased movement speed

      Set Bonus: All melee weapons can now shoot a projectile similar to Betsy's wraith(the sword and the projectile goes in a straight line, always, and its about the size of 2 terra blade beams stacked on top of one another facing up) similar to the color of Zero's Saber in the megaman X series, and a 10% Melee attack.

      Full Defense: 72

      The X Armor focuses on doing speed and damage, (but less speed and stealth than vortex armor)

      The Zero Armor focuses on speed and damage like the X armor (but less defense than the solar flare)

      I consider these post plantera armors, essentially acting as a mix between some armors with strengthes and weaknesses (similar to the x games)

      Z armor crafting recipe (total) Adamantite armor + 60 hallowed bars + 5 sapphire + 20 spectre bars + 15 chlorophyte bars + 5 cogs(they are bought from steampunker, are those the name?)

      X Armor crafting recipe(total) Cobalt(Ranged) + 65 hallowed bars + 5 rubies + 15 spectre bars + 10 chlorophyte bars + 5 cogs

      I made sure that they are somewhat grindy to get, but worth it, not just a few bars and boom op armor. 

      EDIT - I also forgot to point something out. If you have titanium in your world for Z armor, you can use full titianiam armour(melee) and for X armor, you can use palladium armor(ranged) instead.
