The Tungsten Pickaxe is an early-game Pickaxe, being an alternative of the Silver Pickaxe. Like all pickaxes, it is used to mine a majority of blocks and ores. The Tungsten Pickaxe has a slightly longer attack range than the Iron/Lead Pickaxe. It also needs one less hit to mine all blocks compared to the previous pickaxes, although its mining speed is significantly worse. When digging stone-like blocks, it is better to use Lead Pickaxe or Silver Pickaxe as they will dig faster despite needing one more hit. When digging dirt-like blocks, it is faster to keep Tungsten Pickaxe.
