First of all, welcome to the Terraria Wiki! It's nice to see that new editors are still coming in. We hope you'll stay with us :).

Second of all, you were absolutely right about the useAnimation attribute. You can view the values here - I'll be integrating this into the infoboxes tomorrow, probably. DzylonTalk02:26September 07, 2012

Found an image that's missing an inventory background

Hey, just wanted to let you know that Crimson Helmet's image is missing the item background. c: So if you could update it whenever you have the time, that'd be great. Thanks again for all the work you do with the wiki's images! Kida155 (talk) 12:17, October 9, 2013 (UTC)

Corrected image

Party Girl's names

I beg to difir; I saw an uneditted world where the Party Girl was namd Pinkie. LucustheGardevoir (talk) 19:35, October 14, 2013 (UTC)

I just reconfirmed by looking at the game's code (where I got the original list). The name does not exist anywhere in the code.
Drkpanoz (talk) 19:46, October 14, 2013 (UTC)

Well that's mighty strange. My friend doesn't mod his worlds, so. Any reason as to why this happened? LucustheGardevoir (talk) 21:27, October 14, 2013 (UTC)

Hello. Can I ask a question? How you can add a item image with blue background? Thank you. User:Denizmaradona

In the top right of item infoboxes, there is a number called the Item ID. That number can be used to insert the correct image from the [[Image Database]. You can see an example of this on the Data IDs page, where the example is the Excalibur. Its Item ID is 368 so I can use that number to format the image parameter in the infobox like this:
[[File:Item_368.png]] generates: Item 368
I hope that helps.

Hi Drkpanoz,

I just wanted to let you know that, per Oscuritaforze's nominating you for the Rollback group on this wiki, I've added you to the rollback group. Rollback is a functionality of the MediaWiki software that allows you to undo vandalism more easily. From the page history of any wiki page, you will now see a "[rollback]" link which will allow you to "1-click-undo" any vandalism edits you see as you're editing the wiki.

More information is available on this help page. If you have any questions about the user group or functionality, please feel free to talk to Oscuritaforze or any other admin.

Thanks for all your help around the Terraria Wiki and congratulations on your nomination! 20px_Rin_Tohsaka_Avatar.png Mathmagician ƒ(♫) 04:26 UTC, Thursday, 31 October 2013

Thank you for the opportunity! I know I've been a little inactively lately with personal issues, but I'll be sticking around for a while. ;)

Inquiry about images

Hey Drkpanoz,

I had an image related question, was wondering if you might know the answer since you've worked a lot with this. You see how on some pages like Excalibur, in the infobox at the top, we use 2 images: 1 sprite with the background and 1 without the background. The background ones all seem to be in the Image Database with a standard naming convention.

However, it seems like we don't keep track of the non-background versions nearly as well. (Not tracked at Image Database, and no apparent file naming convention.) Do you know if these if these non-background sprites are easily obtainable via an image dump? 20px_Rin_Tohsaka_Avatar.png Mathmagician ƒ(♫) 08:21 UTC, Tuesday, 10 December 2013

The non-background versions are actually a lot easier to dump than the inventory icons because they are literally just the raw image dump. As for the naming convention, I've noticed the 'full size, non-background' versions sometimes have a name like Item_426o.png which was uploaded by Dzylon. So when I upload those non-background versions, I try to follow that convention (seen here). Also, I've noticed the 'full-size' version is only used when the item image is actually larger than the inventory icon (otherwise it'd be redundant). Glad I could help.

Message from Kivivongo1

Hello! Can you add new things to the game? Some kind of mod. That will be awesome. Like new NPCs and stuff. Look At This

KiviSignature  Kivi | Talk Page |

Hey there. I've personally never modified Terraria to add a mod, but I have knowledge of its inner mechanics and without TConfig or something similar, it would be a nuisance (but possible). Unfortunately though, I have lost quite a bit of interest in Terraria lately and have been playing Starbound in its place.

Oh, and what do you think about that page? KiviSignature  Kivi | Talk Page |
