On the PC version PC version, Console version Console version, Mobile version Mobile version, Old Chinese version Old Chinese version, tModLoader version tModLoader version, and tModLoader 1 tModLoader 1.3-Legacy version, the Witch Doctor will shoot poison darts at nearby enemies with a Blowgun to defend himself.

He prefers living in the Jungle biome with the Dryad, and dislikes living in the Hallow.

Trivia

  • The quote "Which doctor am I? The Witch Doctor am I." plays on the homophone "which/witch". Both sentences sound almost identical but have very different meanings.
  • Many of his quotes contain two sentences which use the same words to play on each other.
  • The Witch Doctor is a Lihzahrd, as can be seen by his green skin and tail. This is especially evident by his party quote "I wanted to see how your kind celebrate". This was confirmed by Leinfors on the Terraria forums.[1]
