A key is an item used to open locked chests.
- The
Golden Key opens the 
Gold Chest, one key per chest.
- The
Shadow Key opens the 
Shadow Chest and is reusable.
- The Temple Key opens the Jungle Dungeon. It is obtained by killing Plantera.
- The Hallowed Key opens the Hallowed Chest.
