Spears

Spears are melee weapons that have decent range (somewhat better than swords) but have a stabbing motion rather than a swinging motion. They are able to hit burrowing enemies inside walls, including the bosses and the Wraith, and to hit more than once and penetrate enemies, making them quite powerful against large or clustered enemies. Because of this property, they are very effective against segmented enemies, like the Eater Of Worlds. The best possible prefix for spears is Godly.
