漩泥怪是一种困难模式、拜月教邪教徒后的敌怪，由月亮事件中的星旋柱召唤。漩泥怪使用一种能发射密集射弹的远程武器，类似于战术霰弹枪。漩泥怪也能用类似喷气背包的东西滑行并悬停。它们看上去有泥巴色的皮肤、绿色的玻璃头盔、青色的爪子、和外星类的霰弹枪。

备注

• 如果玩家受到异星蜂王所造成的扭曲减益影响，漩泥怪可以悬浮在玩家上方并且有更大机会伤害到玩家，因为他们将被困在半空中的某个高度直到效果消失。

花絮

• 漩泥怪似乎是使用着类似用星旋碎片制作的装备的星旋怪。
• 漩泥怪在内部被称为 VortexRifleman（星旋步枪兵）。
• 视觉上看，漩泥怪手持的枪有点像星旋机枪。
