火星军官是一种困难模式、石巨人后的敌怪，在火星暴乱事件期间生成。它一开始生成时总是带着一个保护性的泡泡护盾，在它耗尽之前，为火星军官提供显著增加的防御和生命值，并且能免疫熔岩和击退。在泡泡护盾被摧毁后，火星军官就能被真正伤害了。如果在泡泡护盾耗尽后三秒钟内没有杀死火星军官，泡泡护盾会满强度重新激活，但火星军官的生命值不会恢复。

• 泡泡护盾是少数没有专家模式增益或强化的“敌怪”之一。
