熔岩史莱姆是一种地狱独有的史莱姆。它会发出发橙光的火焰颗粒。
熔岩史莱姆不会受到熔岩伤害，并且会像普通史莱姆漂在水上那样漂在熔岩上，但并不像普通史莱姆在水上那样轻轻反弹，它们反弹上升时会弹到空中很高。熔岩史莱姆和任何其他普通史莱姆相比有更高的机动能力。不像其他史莱姆，熔岩史莱姆死亡时不会掉落凝胶，但依然会掉落钱币。在专家模式中，它们被击杀后会生成熔岩。
Like most other slimes, the 熔岩史莱姆 will be passive towards any player with the 家凝 accessory equipped.

- 若玩家用的桥或建筑中没有留下让液体流走的洞，在专家模式中所生成的熔岩可能会对玩家成为问题。留下一格宽的洞可以防止其在桥或其它建筑上堆积。它也会摧毁掉落自熔岩史莱姆的钱币，除非玩家靠的足够近，使得史莱姆一死钱币就开始向玩家移动，因为在拾取过程中物品是忽略熔岩的。
- 熔岩史莱姆可以跳到两倍于普通地表史莱姆的高度。
